How can I select the appropriate dissolution medium?
Which points should be considered?

As per FDA, the dissolution media selection should be based on formulation properties, solubility of the drug substance(s), and the stability of the drug substance(s) during the dissolution testing.
The media used in dissolution studies can include acidic or basic solutions, buffers, surfactants, and surfactants with acid or buffers.
